Coffee Chat: League of Women Voters

We'll discuss the upcoming nonpartisan voter guide from LWVME, which covers everything from voter registration to understanding Ranked Choice Voting and what's on the ballot; learn about the online voter database at Vote411.org, which provides nonpartisan information on every race in Maine, including local contests. They'll also cover the toolkits that LWVME is designing for libraries, featuring materials like flyers, posters, and social media graphics to promote voter guides and significant events like National Voter Registration Day on September 17. Also, you can find out how libraries can partner with LWVME Local Leagues to host candidate forums, issue discussions, and other civic events, and learn about the training sessions LWVME can offer on topics like the new Online Voter Registration system.
