MLA Annual Conference 2021 |
The Maine Library Association annual conference took place virtually on Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25th. This year's conference theme was Orienting Ourselves in the Next Normal.
We hope to see you next year in person at Sunday River!
Keynote speaker: Brooke Gladstone
Brooke Gladstone is the co-host of WNYC’s On the Media. She’s the recipient of two Peabody Awards, a National Press Club Award, and an Overseas Press Club Award, among others. She also is the author of The Influencing Machine (W.W. Norton), a media manifesto in graphic form, listed among the top books of 2011 by The New Yorker, Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus Reviews and Library Journal, and among the “10 Masterpieces of Graphic Nonfiction” by The Atlantic.
